About the role

The manufacturing finance team oversees the financial execution of Anduril’s Global Manufacturing Organization. We bridge engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and finance to drive the best financial outcomes for Anduril. We provide key insights on demand signals, production attainment, resource allocation, and product profitability.

Responsibilities

  • End-to-end financial management of production execution, including headcount, cash/working capital, demand planning, standard costing, production attainment, and managing product margins.
  • Establish transparency into material costs for existing and future Anduril products.
  • Work cross-functionally with Division Finance and Manufacturing Functional teams to consolidate Product Revenue and costing models, perform business case analyses, and make strategic decisions.
  • Perform in-depth quantitative analyses, including variance analysis, trend analysis, scenario modeling, and root cause investigations.
  • Support cross-functional teams with trade-off studies to achieve sustainable unit economics.
  • Develop complex financial models to assess various financial scenarios and support strategic initiatives.
  • Adopt standardized data models tailored to respective Product portfolios and implement process improvements to streamline FP&A activities and enhance reporting accuracy.
  • Lead the development of executive-level reporting and present financial insights to senior management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; MBA or technical background (Engineering/Supply Chain/Operations) is a plus.
  • 3-6 years of experience in manufacturing finance, business unit finance, management consulting, investment banking, or similar.
  • A strong understanding of financial and accounting concepts.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information in an understandable manner.
  • An intuitive approach to problem-solving, with a strong aptitude for analyzing numbers.
  • Able to quickly execute analyses in Excel and translate findings to business partners.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and tools, such as Salesforce, Coupa, Anaplan, and Palantir Foundry.
  • Comfortable with broad communications and presenting to large groups and senior leadership.
  • Willingness to work late hours occasionally to meet deadlines.
