Key Responsibilities
- Identify control risks, evaluate impact, propose changes, and implement improvements to remediate gaps.
- Leverage financial systems and advanced Excel to manage large data sets and produce plans, forecasts, budgets, and consolidations.
- Work with diverse data sources; identify incomplete or inaccurate data, determine root causes, escalate discrepancies, and partner to resolve issues.
- Leverage AI tools and technologies (e.g., machine learning models, generative AI, predictive analytics) to enhance financial analysis, automate repetitive tasks, and generate actionable insights that drive business decisions.
- Use active listening and clear, concise communication (written and verbal) to articulate complex finance topics. Adjust style for various audiences.
- Identify and implement solutions to resolve, improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance processes—including exploring AI-driven solutions to increase efficiency and accuracy.
- Prioritize work independently, resolve issues, meet deadlines, and seek feedback.
- Discern between urgent and non-urgent matters and act accordingly.
- Drive your own growth within the Finance community—seek opportunities to expand expertise in emerging technologies including AI/ML, participate in initiatives, and share knowledge across teams.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- 2+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
- 2+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience
- 2+ years of identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes experience
- 2+ years of dissecting financial data and identifying patterns that support business strategy experience
- 2+ years of contributing to cross-functional initiatives that drive financial performance and strategy experience
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics or business, or Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of quantitative role (engineering, process re-engineering, quality assurance) experience
- Experience with advanced use of SQL for data mining and business intelligence
