Senior Financial Analyst, Last Mile Operations Finance - US FP&A

Responsibilities
Identify control risks, evaluate impact, propose changes, and implement improvements to remediate gaps.
Deliver weekly/monthly financial close activities. Leverage financial systems and advanced Excel to manage large data sets and produce plans, forecasts, budgets, and consolidations.
Work with diverse data sources; identify incomplete or inaccurate data, determine root causes, escalate discrepancies, and partner to resolve issues.
Leverage AI tools and technologies (e.g., machine learning models, generative AI, predictive analytics) to enhance financial analysis, automate repetitive tasks, and generate actionable insights that drive business decisions.
Use active listening and clear, concise communication (written and verbal) to articulate complex finance topics. Adjust style for various audiences.
Identify and implement solutions to resolve, improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance processes—including exploring AI-driven solutions to increase efficiency and accuracy.
Prioritize work independently, resolve issues, meet deadlines, and seek feedback. Discern between urgent and non-urgent matters and act accordingly.
Drive your own growth within the Finance community—seek opportunities to expand expertise in emerging technologies including AI/ML, participate in initiatives, and share knowledge across teams.
Contribute to a positive, collaborative team environment; serve as an effective mentor and role model for new team members.
Requirements
2+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
2+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
2+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience
2+ years of identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes experience
2+ years of dissecting financial data and identifying patterns that support business strategy experience
2+ years of contributing to cross-functional initiatives that drive financial performance and strategy experience
Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics or business, or Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of quantitative role (engineering, process re-engineering, quality assurance) experience
Experience with advanced use of SQL for data mining and business intelligence
Qualifications
2+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
MBA, or CPA
Knowledge of Tableau
Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)

Pay
The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
