Senior Financial Analyst, Global Logistics Finance

About the role

Responsibilities

• Partner with the leadership team to promote the business, understand drivers, look around corners, and attain growth and profitability goals.
• Collaborate across a matrixed organization to define financial plans, measure financial performance, and identify risks and opportunities.
• Manage the expectations of leadership team, stakeholders, customers, and members of the larger finance team.
• Build financial plans for the worldwide business.
• Understand critical business KPIs and levers within financial plans.
• Make recommendations based on opportunity.
• Focus on financial planning and analysis, financial strategy, and reporting/analytics design and automation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science)
• 3+ years of finance or a related analytical field experience
• 3+ years of dissecting financial data and identifying patterns that support business strategy
• 3+ years of contributing to cross-functional initiatives that drive financial performance and strategy

Qualifications

• MBA, or CPA preferred
• 4+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results
• Knowledge of Tableau preferred
• Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards) preferred
