About the role

The Senior Financial Analyst is a member of the service area team and sits on local ministry teams to provide analytical support regarding the team's financial performance.

Responsibilities

  • Analyzes, understands and reports on key financial and business trends for the organization.
  • Collections, researches and organizes financial and operational data to create and report monthly financials, variances and trending analyses.
  • Pro-actively review, analyze, monitor, and report on operational, financial, and reports.
  • Develop financial proformas and value propositions.
  • Support business leaders with annual operating budget and long range plan, including capital budget and financial forecasts.
  • Work with Accounting team to conduct regular review of monthly accounting close.
  • Prepare various analyses and recommendations used by business leaders management in making informed operating decisions.
  • Review and verification of productivity metrics and statistics.
  • Develop and provide training to leadership teams and managers regarding budget reporting, metrics and related information.
  • Provides guidance, assistance and training to more junior-level analysts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting / Finance or equivalent education/experience.
  • 3 years Analytical and Business experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Business Administration.
  • Upon hire: Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
  • Upon hire: Certified Management Accountant (CMA).
  • 2 years Healthcare related experience.

Qualifications

  • Fluent in the English language to satisfactorily perform the essential functions of the position.
  • Qualified under the Unincorporated Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers and the California Fair Chance Act.
