About the role
The Senior Financial Analyst is a member of the service area team and sits on local ministry teams to provide analytical support regarding the team's financial performance.
Responsibilities
- Analyzes, understands and reports on key financial and business trends for the organization.
- Collections, researches and organizes financial and operational data to create and report monthly financials, variances and trending analyses.
- Pro-actively review, analyze, monitor, and report on operational, financial, and reports.
- Develop financial proformas and value propositions.
- Support business leaders with annual operating budget and long range plan, including capital budget and financial forecasts.
- Work with Accounting team to conduct regular review of monthly accounting close.
- Prepare various analyses and recommendations used by business leaders management in making informed operating decisions.
- Review and verification of productivity metrics and statistics.
- Develop and provide training to leadership teams and managers regarding budget reporting, metrics and related information.
- Provides guidance, assistance and training to more junior-level analysts.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting / Finance or equivalent education/experience.
- 3 years Analytical and Business experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Business Administration.
- Upon hire: Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
- Upon hire: Certified Management Accountant (CMA).
- 2 years Healthcare related experience.
Qualifications
- Fluent in the English language to satisfactorily perform the essential functions of the position.
- Qualified under the Unincorporated Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers and the California Fair Chance Act.
