This role offers a hybrid arrangement, with an agreed-upon portion of work time spent at our office in Archbold, Ohio. Reports directly to EVP, Operations.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with business leaders to identify reporting, analytics, and operational improvement opportunities, developing meaningful financial and key performance indicators that support strategic decision-making.
  • Lead financial planning activities, including budgeting, forecasting, capacity planning, and performance analysis, providing insights into business results, trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Analyze business performance, investments, capital projects, and operational initiatives to assess financial impact, measure outcomes, and recommend actions that improve profitability and efficiency.
  • Design, develop, and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using Power BI and enterprise systems, ensuring data integrity, consistency, and reporting accuracy.
  • Collaborate with business and IT teams to translate business requirements into scalable analytics and reporting solutions while documenting methodologies, business rules, logic, mappings, and reporting processes.
  • Prepare and present financial and operational insights to leadership, including budget variances, performance drivers, strategic recommendations, and data-driven business cases that support organizational priorities.
  • Serve as a trusted business partner and analytics expert, helping stakeholders leverage data to make informed decisions and continuously improve business performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field required. MBA preferred.
  • Five years of relevant experience in a large consumer products, manufacturing, and distribution environment.
  • Experience developing and leading annual budgeting processes with multiple stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of implementing or improving financial reporting.
  • Proven experience developing scalable reporting and analytics solutions that support business decision-making.
  • Experience working with ERP systems; SAP experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience with data modeling, automation, and business process improvement initiatives.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly proficient in financial analysis and model building.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business questions into financial models and data into meaningful business insights.
  • Natural curiosity and a desire to understand business processes, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical and financial concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Proficiency in business intelligence and data visualization tools, with advanced Power BI experience.
  • Proficiency in Office suite.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis and modeling capabilities.
  • Understanding of data structures, databases, and reporting best practices.

Pay

The expected offer range is $63,000 - $84,000. The actual salary will be based on factors such as location, relevant experience, and skills.
