About the role

As a Senior Financial Analyst- Digital & Automation (D&A) Customer Service, you will play a pivotal role in the financial management of Siemens Healthineers' D&A customer service operations. Your responsibilities include ensuring the accuracy of financial records, preparing and analyzing financial reports, and collaborating with various teams to optimize service performance and financial processes.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the accuracy of books and records; lead and oversee the development of accurate financial reports.
  • Interpret data and communicate results to Performance Controlling and senior management.
  • Develop and maintain key metrics, scorecards, and reporting packages as needed.
  • Lead discussions of financial analysis at complex levels including budgeting, financials, and expenses in performance comparisons.
  • Participate in month-end closing activities such as JV entries, flash commentary, PO management, and cost accruals.
  • Provide financial expertise, including buyout recommendations and dispute resolutions, to all stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Product Managers, Education team, and Business Line Controller to determine pricing strategies on D&A contracts.
  • Manage service backlog and coordinate with project managers, equipment financial analysts, and colleagues from different departments to ensure revenue recognition.
  • Create and maintain various reports to better analyze P&L, contract bookings, and billings, utilizing digitalization tools like Datawarehouse, Power BI, etc.
  • Ensure P58 readiness and smooth transition for go-live.
  • Support the professional development of less experienced Financial Analysts.
  • Work with SAP, SAP Business Objects, Jedox, Power BI, Qlik, etc.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 5-10 years of relevant field experience, with a balanced mix of Siemens experience preferred.
  • Strong analytical and financial skills.
  • Effective communication skills, both within the team and with senior management.
  • Proficiency in working with ERP systems, downloading data, and creating database-driven models.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office suite of products and Power BI.
  • Dedicated, attention to detail, and a propensity for quality and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to bring projects to successful conclusions with minimal supervision.
  • Experience working in the software industry is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of IFRS requirements.
  • Experience in commercial/contract activities, pricing, margin calculations, and M&A-related analysis.
  • Experience in a matrix business environment.

Pay

The base pay range for this position is $107,060 - $147,213, with factors such as geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications affecting starting pay. If this is a commission-eligible position, commissions are based on individual performance and/or company performance.

Schedule

The schedule for this position is not specified, but it is expected to be full-time.
