Senior Financial Analyst, AWS Supply Chain Operations Finance

About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our finance organization supporting the AWS Infrastructure Supply Chain team. We are looking for a team player that has the entrepreneurial spirit and enjoys working in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.
Responsibilities
- Build, run, and maintain complex financial models to maintain AWS infrastructure commodity planning, derive key financial insights, and communicate results to AWS FP&A and senior management.
- Conduct supply chain monthly, quarterly, and yearly variance analysis and communicate results to AWS FP&A and senior management.
- Develop ad hoc business analyses and present recommendations to AWS senior management.
- Collaborate with business partners and co-lead on supply chain optimization projects by influencing through data-driven analysis, reporting and metrics.
- Serve as a key finance partner working with cross-functional teams to provide actionable insights and cost savings opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with controls and systems, and develop new processes to support the fast-growing, global AWS business.

Qualifications
- 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science), or Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of quantitative role (engineering, process re-engineering, quality assurance) experience
- 4+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
- MBA, or CPA
- Knowledge of Tableau
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
- Experience with advanced use of SQL for data mining and business intelligence
- Experience with key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses
- Experience with creating process improvements with automation and analysis
- Experience with advanced use of SQL for data mining and business intelligence
