On-siteFinanceFull-time

Core responsibilities

  • Own and maintain the financial statements for each of SPCP's value-based-care programs
  • Produce a standardized monthly roll-up of VBC financial performance against accruals for the CFO and executive team
  • Build and maintain Population Health program P&Ls
  • Partner with Population Health leadership to translate program results into financial performance and to flag emerging variances early
  • Provide analysis that helps Population Health identify performance-improvement opportunities — program-level margin, cost and utilization drivers, and which contracts or member cohorts are running ahead of or behind target — so results inform action, not just reporting
  • Support financial scenario analysis for value-based contract decisions (renewals, new payer contracts, and changes in risk level), and benchmark performance across programs to surface where SPCP's own VBC capabilities can be strengthened
  • Prepare financial findings and investment-committee materials for review with the VP of Finance
  • Develop a repeatable framework to tie value to a target's VBC results, and produce diligence-ready VBC performance packets — including a read on the maturity of the target's VBC capabilities
  • Develop standardized diligence frameworks, financial models, and KPI dashboards to improve transaction execution
  • Monitor post-close performance, synergy realization, and ROI against the original underwriting
  • Provide incremental analytical support to New Markets & Growth as deal flow requires
  • Support financial performance management across the clinic and lab operating footprint; producing location- and practice-level P&L views, tracking performance against plan, and flagging emerging issues
  • Analyze clinic- and lab-level performance trends — volume, revenue-per-visit, cost, and margin drivers — and translate them into financial implications and recommended actions
  • Support financial analysis of the lab operation — utilization, contribution, cost-per-test, and its financial relationship to the clinics it serves
  • Support provider-capacity, visit-volume, and staffing analyses as they bear on clinic and lab financial performance
  • Prepare executive-ready materials — summaries, dashboards, and board or investor inputs — that frame clinic, lab, and integration performance for leadership, with consistent and metrics.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis, healthcare finance, FP&A, consulting, or multi-unit environments
  • Healthcare finance experience, incl. exposure to value-based care or population-health economics
  • Experience supporting M&A or transaction diligence, including financial modeling (valuation, scenario, and sensitivity analysis)
  • Strong analytics: advanced Excel, plus SQL and BI/dashboarding (Power BI or similar)
  • Strong executive communication — able to frame analysis for decision-makers, not just produce it
  • Able to work with incomplete info and evolving assumptions within a defined operating structure
  • PREFERRED: MSO or multi-site healthcare experience
  • PREFERRED: Direct experience with VBC program economics (shared savings, MA, ACO/REACH, and similar)
  • PREFERRED: Experience building program-level or entity-level P&Ls
  • PREFERRED: Experience with acquisition valuation, synergy analysis, or value-based contract modeling
  • PREFERRED: Experience with clinic- or practice-level operating P&Ls or post-acquisition finance integration
