Senior Financial Analyst

About the role

The Senior Financial Analyst will provide financial analysis and reporting to support strategic decision-making across the organization. This role will work closely with various departments to ensure accurate financial forecasts and budgeting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct financial analysis and prepare detailed reports on financial performance, trends, and variances.
• Develop and maintain financial models to support forecasting and budgeting processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into actionable financial insights.
• Support the preparation of financial statements and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Provide guidance and training to less experienced analysts on financial analysis techniques and best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, preferably in a corporate environment.
• Proficiency in financial modeling software such as Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with all levels of the organization.
• Knowledge of GAAP and familiarity with financial reporting systems.

Qualifications

• Experience with financial planning and analysis tools.
• Understanding of financial statement analysis and interpretation.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

Skills

• Advanced Excel skills including VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, and pivot tables.
• Experience with financial modeling and forecasting.
• Knowledge of financial reporting and regulatory requirements.

Pay

Salary range: $80,000 - $120,000 annually.
