About the role

Voted one of INC.'s Fastest Growing Companies and a Best Place to Work for three consecutive years, IndeVets™ is on a mission to bring balance, fulfillment, and joy to veterinary medicine.

Responsibilities

  • Own the financial models that power annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning
  • Deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting with clear variance analysis and business performance insights
  • Partner with the Director of FP&A and CFO to prepare Board materials, executive presentations, and strategic analyses
  • Analyze operational and financial trends across markets and business initiatives to surface actionable recommendations
  • Collaborate with the Data & Analytics team to translate business intelligence tools into meaningful performance visibility for leadership
  • Leverage a variety of AI analytical tools to derive insights and key performance indicators for key stakeholders

Requirements

  • 3-7 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, investment banking, transaction advisory, management consulting, or a similarly analytical finance role
  • Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; able to build, stress-test, and document complex models from scratch
  • Strong PowerPoint skills; able to translate financial analysis into clear, executive-ready presentations
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills with strong attention to detail and an ownership mentality
  • Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, private equity-backed environment with intellectual curiosity and composure

Qualifications

  • Comfort owning an analytical process from blank spreadsheet to executive presentation, with no one handing you a template
  • Genuine curiosity about how businesses operate, you dig into the numbers because you want to understand what’s actually driving performance, not just report it
  • The ability to shift between deep-focus modeling work and clear, concise communication with senior leaders in the same day
  • A bias toward clarity: when the data is messy or the answer is uncertain, you say so clearly and frame the options rather than hiding behind ambiguity
  • An instinct to build things that last: you document your models, build in flexibility, and hand off processes that others can actually use
