Senior Financial Analyst
Job Overview
The Senior Financial Analyst is part of the corporate finance support team. The Senior Financial Analyst's responsibilities include assisting with financial planning and budgeting processes, analyzing financial statements and reports, developing financial models, preparing projections, and performing research and analysis as may be required by leadership. As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will also be responsible for providing project teams with financial guidance and assisting with monthly close process. This role will be the subject matter expert on our Digital Transformation.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with budgeting, forecasting and monthly close processes
- Create ad hoc analysis as needed
- Prepare variance analysis and provide variance reporting as necessary
- Maintenance, improvement and creation of financial models
- Scenario modeling which includes opex and capex
- Tracking KPIs
- Understanding of key business drivers
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or combination of experience and education
- 4+ years of experience in financial planning, analysis, modeling and systems
- Strong analytical thinking and problem solving skills
- Strong organizational skills and ability to lead many tasks at once
- Exceptional communication and change management skills
- Ability to meet deadlines with integrity of information preserved
- High sense of urgency
- Team player
- Ability to present financial and or system information to an audience
- System experience – working knowledge of Microsoft applications especially strong excel skills, Co-Pilot, power BI, financial systems
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, accounting information systems or related field
- CPA, CFE, CISA, CIA or other relevant designation is a plus
