Responsibilities
- Responsible for the month-end close process of Global Quality Assurance and Compliance area based in Alameda, CA in compliance with Division and Corporate reporting requirements including among others:
- Preparation and validation of journal entries (including interaction with Genpact and Corporate Financial Services teams)
- Actuals reporting and analysis of actual vs forecast
- Responsible for ensuring balance sheet accounts are reconciled as per agreed timings, explaining balance sheet fluctuations and review resulting analysis with the Assistant Controller at least quarterly.
- Perform the forecasting, and analysis function for operating expenses, capital and project expenses, and balance sheet for Global Quality Assurance and Compliance area.
- Responsible for the assets management of Global Quality Assurance and Compliance area based in Alameda including assets settlement and periodic asset verification.
- Ensure adequate internal controls are followed.
- Manage a liaison relationship with Global Quality Assurance and Compliance area providing guidance and support in finance related matters for proper forecasting and business support.
- Participate in ad hoc/periodic meetings and projects from Global Quality Assurance and Compliance.
- Responsible for establishing, developing, and implementing appropriate processes and procedures to ensure that the financial planning process provides for efficient and effective decision support tools for senior management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in finance, accounting or economics)
- 3-5 years financial analysis / FP&A experience
- Ability to plan, implement, and administer financial information and systems
- Knowledge of the principles, processes and standards for integrated financial analysis and reporting
- Highly Proficient in MS Office especially Excel
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret financial data to make recommendations as well as problem solve
Preferred
- Master’s Degree / MBA preferred
