Senior Financial Analyst, Alexa 1P and Alexa Home Finance

About the role

The Senior Financial Analyst will provide critical insights to shape the Alexa financial outlooks, supporting short and long-term investment decisions.

Responsibilities

• Drive broad insights shaping the Alexa financial outlooks to inform investment decisions
• Build scalable analyses, KPIs, and insights to inform cost discipline and P&L management
• Work closely with multiple stakeholders across the organization to drive financial performance and strategy
• Identify, lead, and execute opportunities to improve, automate, standardize, or simplify finance or business tools and processes

Requirements

• 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
• 4+ years of applying KPIs to analyses
• 4+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis
• 4+ years of identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes
• 4+ years of contributing to cross-functional initiatives that drive financial performance and strategy
• 4+ years of dissecting financial data and identifying patterns that support business strategy

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science)
• 3+ years of contributing to cross-functional initiatives that drive financial performance and strategy
• 3+ years of dissecting financial data and identifying patterns that support business strategy

Preferred Qualifications

• 4+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results
• MBA, or CPA
• Knowledge of Tableau
• Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
