About the role
The Senior Financial Analyst will provide critical insights to shape the Alexa financial outlooks, supporting short and long-term investment decisions.
Responsibilities
- Drive broad insights shaping the Alexa financial outlooks to inform investment decisions
- Build scalable analyses, KPIs, and insights to inform cost discipline and P&L management
- Work closely with multiple stakeholders across the organization to drive financial performance and strategy
- Identify, lead, and execute opportunities to improve, automate, standardize, or simplify finance or business tools and processes
Requirements
- 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- 4+ years of applying KPIs to analyses
- 4+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis
- 4+ years of identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes
- 4+ years of contributing to cross-functional initiatives that drive financial performance and strategy
- 4+ years of dissecting financial data and identifying patterns that support business strategy
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science)
- 3+ years of contributing to cross-functional initiatives that drive financial performance and strategy
- 3+ years of dissecting financial data and identifying patterns that support business strategy
Preferred Qualifications
- 4+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results
- MBA, or CPA
- Knowledge of Tableau
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
