Key job responsibilities
Own WW financial planning and reporting for multi-billion dollar budgets including operating plans, forecasts, monthly close, variance analysis, and long-range financial outlooks
Lead, develop, and scale a team of finance professionals; raise the talent bar and build succession depth across Middle Mile and Last Mile coverage
Own controllership for the WW fleet, including execution and continuous improvement of SOX and Amazon internal controls that drive accuracy in corporate financial reporting
Connect financial plans across regions, business lines, and asset categories to surface risks, opportunities, and trade-offs that influence procurement, allocation, maintenance, sale, and utilization decisions
Partner with senior operations and finance leaders to shape one-way-door capital investments and ensure capital commitments translate into measurable financial outcomes
Lead the invention of standardized, automated reporting and planning mechanisms that scale with a rapidly growing and continuously evolving fleet
Communicate complex financial topics with clarity to business executives in weekly and monthly business reviews
A Typical Day
Coaching and developing your team of finance managers and analysts — unblocking analyses, raising the bar on storytelling, and growing the next generation of fleet finance leaders
Reviewing variance drivers across Middle Mile and Last Mile fleet and translating them into forward-looking risks, opportunities, and recommendations for senior leaders
Preparing executive narratives for monthly and weekly business reviews that distill a complex, multi-region operation into clear strategic recommendations

Qualifications
10+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
8+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
8+ years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making experience
8+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience
5+ years of hiring, leading and developing teams experience
Bonus Qualifications
8+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
8+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience
8+ years of mentoring junior finance and/or business team members experience
5+ years of working with senior staff (e.g. c-suite) experience
Education
MBA, or CPA
