Senior Finance Manager (Controller Track, Accounting, Automation & FP&A)

About the role

The Senior Finance Manager will oversee accounting operations while driving improvements across financial processes, automation, and business reporting. This role requires a balance of operational ownership, strategic thinking, and a passion for technology-enabled finance transformation.

Requirements

• 6+ years of progressive experience in accounting and finance roles.
• Proven experience owning or leading monthly close processes and financial operations.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, and accounting controls.
• Experience improving finance systems, workflows, and operational processes.
• Demonstrated ability to identify inefficiencies and implement automation solutions.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in budgeting, forecasting, KPI reporting, and financial analysis.
• Curiosity and enthusiasm for AI, automation, and modern finance technologies.
• Able to work independently, prioritize effectively, and manage multiple initiatives in a fast-moving environment.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate with executive stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• Experience with SaaS, technology companies, venture-backed organizations, or high-growth environments is a plus.
• Experience implementing or optimizing finance platforms and accounting systems is highly valued.
• CPA certification is preferred but not required.
