Reporting to the CFO / Head of Finance – Accounts. Location: Elizabethtown, KY (onsite). Duration: 12 months+.
Pay
$170K–$180K

Requirements
- Must be located in Kentucky or willing to relocate to Kentucky
- Must have experience working in a manufacturing organization
- Must be a U.S. Green Card holder or U.S. citizen
- Must be comfortable working with leadership and decision-makers based in India
Responsibilities
- Ensure timely closure of books of account as per targets set by the Corporate Office
- Finalize trial balance, stock, A/R, A/P, fixed assets, and other ERP modules; reconcile with the general ledger within targeted book-closure dates
- Manage working capital allocated to the business unit, including payables and receivables
- Ensure compliance with federal and state tax laws (VAT, income tax, excise duty) on a day-to-day basis
- Submit required information to the Corporate Office for monthly, quarterly, and annual returns to statutory authorities
- Provide financial and other information to the corporate office as requested
- Prepare MIS reports, including product costing, receivable aging summaries, payable summaries, and other required information
- Liaise with internal auditors to ensure clean audit reports and address all issues raised
- Coordinate with statutory auditors to complete the unit’s audit within management-set timelines
- Operate bank accounts, ensuring compliance with regulations related to exports, imports, and foreign transactions
- Handle finance and accounts, commercial, procurement, audit, statutory compliances, budgeting, variance analysis, profitability analysis, MIS, and government liaison
- Act as a client for Delegation of Authorities (DOA) and Right Clients Right Terms (RCRT), assisting in financial matters for OPEX and CAPEX investment decisions
- Administer tax programs and serve as a subject matter expert on GAAP and IFRS standards
- Maintain and supervise day-to-day financial entries
- Perform monthly scrutiny of general ledger and trial balance; ensure timely closing of monthly books of accounts
- Reconcile customers, vendors, bank accounts, and inter-unit transactions
- Prepare cash flow statements, costing, budgeting, and MIS reports
- Manage complete treasury functions
- Ensure compliance with relevant finance and secretarial laws
- Oversee import/export activities and related processes
- Handle insurance matters
Interactions
- Internal: Work with internal auditors, business heads, and other departments
- External: Interact with customers, vendors, industrial and professional bodies, government authorities, government representatives, and statutory auditors
Qualifications
- CPA, CA, or ICWA qualification in finance
- 15+ years of experience in accounts functions
- Experience with SAP or Oracle
- Preferred experience in the manufacturing industry
