Primary Responsibilities
- Lead initiatives, not just execute them
- Build technology-enabled solutions, not just use them
- Influence business outcomes through data, analytics, and strategic insight
- Manage HDR’s indirect rate cycle
- Lead financial forecasting processes
- Interface across HDR functional areas to implement multiple initiatives
- Streamline proposal support activities
- Drive high-impact forecasting & decision support
- Prepare HDR indirect cost rates in accordance with FAR rules, CAS requirements, and AASHTO accounting guidance
- Influence complex financial & compliance strategy
Preferred Qualifications
- CPA or equivalent designation
- A/E/C industry experience
- Prior process automation experience
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting, finance, consulting, or a related function
- Proficiency in using data analytics, process automation and/or reporting software, such as Microsoft Power BI, Snowflake and Tableau
- Working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation and Cost Accounting Standards
- Proven ability to own initiatives and influence outcomes
- Strong problem-solver who enjoys working with complex data and ambiguity
- Strong oral and written communication skills to clearly convey messages and ideas
- Ability to manage multiple projects in parallel
