Senior Finance Analyst- Supply Chain and Inventory

About the role

Key finance contributor to the Supply Chain organization at Brown-Forman. Role will provide oversight and review of the inventory processes at U.S. Bailment owned and 3rd party warehouses. In addition, the role will lead monthly global reporting across production sites, delivering executive insights on Gross Profit, Production Variance, G&A, LIFO, and Capital.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the oversight of inventory transactions and reconciliations at U.S. Bailment and 3rd Party warehouses.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional departments to review and improve the end-to-end Bailment process.
  • Build and maintain analytical reports around Inventory, Logistics, Sourcing and other Supply Chain functions.
  • Lead the annual inventory count at third party warehouse, overseeing the investigation and recording of adjustments.
  • Perform month-end closing entries and account reconciliations.
  • Key member of forecasting and budgeting process for logistics and raw material planning.
  • Collaborate with accounting, supply chain, and commercial teams to analyze global inventory reserves and present to management.
  • Lead Global Supply Chain monthly reporting by consolidating data across multiple production sites to produce executive-level updates on Gross Profit, Production Variance, G&A, LIFO, and Capital.
  • Also responsible for developing and delivering bi-monthly performance briefings to the Global Supply Chain Leadership team.
  • Lead analyst for Production Direction G&A which includes providing support to the Production Direction business leaders (e.g., Supply Chain, R&D, Quality, Packaging, Engineering Services, etc.,).
  • These activities also include general accounting functions, financial reporting and analysis, planning and forecasting.
  • Review processes with a continuous improvement mindset to build efficiencies.
  • Ensure SOX control compliance.

Requirements

  • Education: College/University (Bachelors or Equivalent); Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
  • 3-5 years experience with a manufacturing company
  • Demonstrated experience with data analytics and reporting
  • Attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and completeness
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with an ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
  • Ability to build productive relationships and partnerships and influence others
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects and responsibilities while meeting established deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office with an emphasis on Excel and Google software
  • Experience with SAP or comparable ERP software

Qualifications

  • Education: Master’s Degree (M.A., MBA or Equivalent); Business, Accountancy or Finance
  • Certifications: CPA or CMA
  • Experience with SAP software including the following modules: product costing, material ledger, materials management, inventory management, production planning, integrated manufacturing, financial accounting and controlling
  • Experience in alcohol beverage manufacturing environment
