Senior Finance Analyst, NA Amazon Logistics Field Finance RSR Execution

About the role

Amazon is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to lead and oversee critical functions for the Under The Roof (UTR) Execution team within Rural/Super Rural (RSR), our rapidly expanding internal delivery operation. This role will influence initiatives driving efficiency for RSR operations from both tactical and strategic perspectives, directly supporting cost champions, enhancing delivery speed, and creating technical parity with AMZL to benefit 130+ delivery stations nationwide.

This role requires extensive cross-functional partnership with operations, supply chain, finance, and other support teams to identify and address cost opportunities across the network.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategic relationships with business partners to influence decisions.
• Root cause issues quickly using data, uncover core problems, and teach the business how decisions affect costs while creating new mechanisms as needed.
• Collect, analyze, and manage quantitative data to create meaningful analyses that drive business improvement and cost reductions.
• Recommend, develop, and implement policies and programs that guide the organization in maintaining and improving its competitive position and profitability.
• Create a “learn by doing” environment by engaging with on-the-floor associates and managers to promote and encourage continued customer focus.
• Partner with your team to develop weekly and monthly financial close activities, planning, forecasting, and reporting models while overseeing their continuous innovation and communication.
• Ensure timely and accurate metrics and forecasts are created and maintained.
• Contribute to month-end close, cost business reviews, network scale initiatives, and ad-hoc analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science).
• 3+ years of experience in finance or a related analytical field.
• 3+ years of experience dissecting financial data and identifying patterns that support business strategy.
• 3+ years of experience contributing to cross-functional initiatives that drive financial performance and strategy.

Preferred Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience participating in continuous improvement projects to scale and improve controllership with measurable results.
• MBA or CPA.
• Experience creating process improvements with automation and analysis.
• Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (e.g., SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards).

Pay

Base salary range: $60,200.00 - $105,400.00 USD annually for this position in Nashville, TN.
