Senior Finance Analyst – Business Support (CFO-Card & Small Business Lending Valuation, Analytics, and Reporting)

Evaluations

• Evaluates Lines of Business (LOB) financial performances and assists with decision making by synthesizing key trends, assessing current and future business risks, and preparing, analyzing, and reporting on financial results and key metrics
• Supports reporting and analysis for key constituents and management, which may include Board of Directors, Investor Relations, and/or various regulatory agencies
• Collaborates with teams across the Finance division to ensure integrity of the financials, sound controls, and efficient and effective procedures
• Leverages, develops, and maintains financial models and analytical tools that support strategic decision-making, business case development, and ongoing product performance management.
• Leads financial valuation, forecasting, profitability analysis, and performance monitoring for Consumer, Wealth Management, and Small Business Card lending products, delivering actionable insights to support strategic business decisions along with portfolio performance evaluation and commentary

Reports and Analytics

• Creates forecasts and budgets by comparing current performance against plan, prior periods, prior forecasts, and budgets and evaluating current and future performance trajectory
• Develops financial management reports, presentations, and ad hoc analyses for LOBs and/or finance partners
• Supports new and ongoing projects and strategic initiatives by creating processes to automate key reporting capabilities and delivering on process improvements and simplifications to enable increased focus on strategic priorities

Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement

• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders across Finance, Consumer Product, Technology, Credit Risk, Model Risk Management, and other teams to align financial objectives, analytics, and business strategies

Data and Tools

• Leverage data and analytics platforms (Alteryx, Tableau, SAS, and related tools) to deliver insights, prepare executive-level reporting, and communicate financial recommendations to senior leadership

Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience with financial planning, analysis and reporting
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills
