Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain complex financial models to project 340B program performance, analyzing drug-level profitability, dispensing patterns, replenishment dynamics, and spread performance.
- Evaluate the financial impact of manufacturer restrictions, newly contracted entities, new drug additions, and structural contract changes within the 340B channel.
- Prepare recurring monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages, including variance analysis, margin reviews, and covered entity performance metrics for senior leadership.
- Partner with compliance and internal operations to monitor financial risk areas, assist with internal and external audits, and prepare necessary reconciliations.
- Streamline reporting workflows, develop performance dashboards, and assist with the implementation of specialized financial data models, such as consolidated NPI and NDC-level pricing databases.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Coordinate with accounting, FP&A, commercial operations, and third-party administrators (TPAs) to ensure data alignment and communicate complex financial trends clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Must be willing to work standard EST hours.
- 5 or more years of progressive experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and financial reporting.
- Direct financial analysis experience with 340B programs, specialty pharmacies, healthcare systems, or provider-based pharmacy networks is a plus but not required.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with database tools and data visualization platforms like Power BI, SQL, or specialized data models is highly preferred.
- Exceptional analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills with a track record of translating complex datasets into executive-level insights.
