About the role
Based out of our Wilmington, NC division, this role offers the opportunity to take on greater responsibility in the field, lead assigned scopes of work, collaborate with experienced project teams, and continue developing toward future leadership opportunities such as Assistant Superintendent.
Responsibilities
- Support the Superintendent and field leadership team in the day-to-day execution of construction projects;
- Manage assigned scopes of work with increasing ownership and accountability for safety, quality, schedule, and productivity;
- Perform quality control inspections, identify deficiencies, and help ensure work meets project plans, specifications, and company standards;
- Coincordinate project inspections with building officials and third-party inspectors;
- Assist in developing and maintaining short-term schedules and three-week look-ahead plans;
- Maintain accurate field documentation, including daily reports and inspection records;
- Cookordinate with subcontractors, vendors, design teams, and internal project staff to resolve field issues and keep work moving forward;
- Support project cost management, planning, and field logistics;
- Mentor Field Engineers and help foster a collaborative, team-oriented jobsite culture;

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent construction experience);
- Approximately 2–4 years of commercial construction experience with increasing field responsibilities;
- Strong understanding of construction methods, sequencing, quality control, and contract documents;
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills;
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail;
- Experience coordinating subcontractors and working collaboratively with project teams;
- Proficiency with construction technology and documentation tools;
- OSHA 10 certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
