We are hiring for our client in the biotechnology industry.Duration: 6 months (extendable)Location: Remote with 80% travel (travel + accommodation reimbursed)Pay: 35 to 40/hr Job SummaryThe Senior Field Applications Specialist is responsible for validating new hematology instrument installations to ensure they meet customer requirements. This fully remote role requires at least 80% travel and involves working directly with customer. Key Operators during validation to reinforce training, address questions, and ensure staff readiness to operate and maintain instrumentation. The specialist collaborates with cross-functional teams including Technical Support, Field Service, Sales, and Customer Training to deliver world-class service. Key ResponsibilitiesConduct validation studies including instrument setup, calibration, precision studies, and method comparisons.Troubleshoot assay issues remotely and onsite for customers.Lead onsite training for customers on proper instrument operation.Address customer concerns regarding instrument operation and assay performance.Ensure compliance with published specifications and regulatory requirements.Collaborate cross-functionally with Tech Support, Field Service, Sales, and Customer Training teams. Required QualificationsAssociate’s degree with a minimum of 3+ years combined experience in laboratory/diagnostic instrumentation or related field.Advanced knowledge of diagnostics or healthcare industry with emphasis on laboratory regulatory environments.Ability to work remotely with domestic travel up to 80%.Valid driver’s license and good driving record. Preferred QualificationsExperience in medical technology.Familiarity with standard laboratory practices including quality control, record keeping, and regulatory requirements (CAP, CLIA, COLA).
