About the role

NVIDIA is seeking a Field Applications Engineer to join their team. This role involves providing onsite technical support for large datacenter deployments of NVIDIA AI computing systems, working with sales account managers, and establishing strong relationships with customers.

Responsibilities

  • Provide onsite support for large datacenter deployments of NVIDIA AI solutions.
  • Solve complex hardware and deployment issues.
  • Act as a technical specialist on GPU and networking products, supporting sales account managers and the team to deliver outstanding AI datacenter solutions.
  • Establish the technical relationship with our customer's engineers, management, and architects at focus accounts.
  • Identify customer architectures and key product requirements in the enterprise AI market.
  • Provide technical and sales training to the direct sales team and channel partners.
  • Establish positive relationships and communication channels with internal teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of work-related experience in the high-tech electronics industry in a system design role or technical customer support role.
  • In-depth knowledge of servers, storage systems, network devices, and other data center hardware.
  • Ability to work in a constantly evolving environment without losing focus.
  • Strong time-management and organization skills for coordinating multiple initiatives, priorities, and implementations of new technology and products into very sophisticated projects.
  • Expert analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills in English with the ability to effectively collaborate with management and engineering.

Qualifications

  • Experience with large-scale rollouts of datacenter equipment.
  • Networking knowledge, including TCP/IP, RDMA, RoCE, NICs, Switches, etc.
  • Embedded Linux System, APIs, and similar embedded OS knowledge.
  • Experience working with OEMs in the industrial, military, and ruggedized computing space.
  • Knowledge of HVAC and cooling systems for thermal management, power distribution, cabling, and rack layout as well as CPU Architecture knowledge.

Benefits

The base salary range for this position is $132,000 - $207,000 for Level 3 and $160,000 - $253,000 for Level 4. Additionally, you will be eligible for equity and benefits.

Pay

Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
