Senior Federal Compliance Specialist
About the role
GHD is seeking an experienced Senior Federal Compliance Specialist to join their growing organization. This position offers the opportunity to influence internal frameworks within the Finance function and ensure accurate identification, capture, and reporting of costs in compliance with various regulations.
Responsibilities
- Financial analysis on Federally funded contracts
- Auditing expenses in accordance with Federal Cost Accounting Standards (CAS)
- Working closely with operations to provide pricing on proposals and ensuring compliance with regulations
- Performing quarterly indirect cost calculations for allowability and reasonableness
- Reviewing contractor proposals for compliance with CAS and other rules and regulations including Disclosure Statement requirements
- Ensuring expenditures are accurately coded and allocated to eligible cost categories
- Managing and reviewing forward pricing rates
- Managing and reviewing indirect cost submissions
Requirements
- Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in a finance or accounting role
- Experience working with US Federal contracts, including accounting and/or ensuring financial compliance for federally funded projects and programs
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS)
- Consulting or Public Accounting experience is a strong asset
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work both within a team and independently while interacting with internal leadership
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel
Qualifications

Pay
The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $120,000 annually, depending on experience and location.
Schedule
