Senior Federal Budget Execution Analyst

What You Will Do
- Perform budget execution activities as assigned, including extracting, analyzing, summarizing, and preparing data for presentation from financial systems, travel systems, and purchase card tools.
- Manage multiple Spend Plans, conduct reconciliation between financial reports and spend plans, identify inconsistencies or imbalances, collaborate with stakeholders, and provide recommendations or mitigation strategies to address issues.
- Track commitments, obligations, and expenditures using systems like the Federal Financial Management System (FFMS).
- Provide support in building and maintaining budget dashboards in PowerBI.
- Analyze financial data and prepare complex financial reports and briefings.
- Allocate and track funding across multiple subdivisions and program codes.
- Reconcile plan funding with actual expenditures.
What You Will Need
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD "Public Trust"; candidates must obtain approved adjudication prior to onboarding. Active Public Trust or suitability clearance preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Seven (7) or more years of experience in the federal budget process, federal budget lifecycle, and the federal procurement process.
- Proficiency in MS applications: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and PowerBI.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
