About the role

The Senior Family Support Clinician role at CSO is designed for experienced or newly graduated clinicians who wish to provide in-home therapy to children and families. The position involves providing a structured, strength-based therapeutic relationship in natural settings like homes or schools, alongside a paraprofessional who supports and trains families.

Responsibilities

  • Begin initial assessment for all referrals within 24 hours, including mental status and risk assessments.
  • Develop treatment plans and goals in collaboration with families, children, and other supports and providers.
  • Assist caregivers in stabilizing the behavior of children and adolescents, including developing Risk Management Plans and facilitating crisis services when necessary.
  • Work collaboratively with the Family Support paraprofessional.
  • Be a collaborative provider to the family and the family’s wrap-around team supports and providers.
  • Maintain regular and required communication with MassHealth MCE’s and commercial insurance providers.
  • Follow standard procedures as defined in the specifications for In-Home Therapy and/or Family-Based Intensive Treatment (FIT).
  • Meet and maintain expected productivity level at 107 billable hours monthly (321 billable hours quarterly) for 1.0 FTE (full-time equivalency).
  • Provide transportation for consumers as appropriate, following program guidelines.
  • Be available to work flexible schedule which will include some evening and weekend work, as required by client needs.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in a mental health field.
  • Experience working with children and families (preferred).
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.

Pay

$50,000 - $63,000/year

Schedule

Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends as needed.
