Responsibilities

  • Provide intensive family therapy and stabilization services to youth with Serious Emotional Disturbance (SED) and their families in home and community settings.
  • Complete comprehensive assessments including CANS, CRAFFT (12+), diagnostic evaluations, and SED determinations.
  • Facilitate team meetings with families, youth, and providers to review and update treatment plans.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans that highlight strengths, needs, goals, and interventions.
  • Conduct safety planning and risk management at intake and throughout treatment.
  • Partner with FIT Family Partners and Outreach Workers to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Collaborate with schools, providers, and community resources to coordinate services.
  • Support transitions to community-based treatment and services after FIT discharge.
  • Provide after-hours phone support and participate in on-call rotation.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in a mental health-related field and license-eligible in MA, or Master’s in related field with at least 2 years of experience working with children with emotional and behavioral needs.
  • CANS-MA certification required (or ability to obtain upon hire).
  • Knowledge of Serious Emotional Disturbance (SED), treatment techniques, and child-serving systems.
  • Familiarity with behavioral modification, crisis intervention, and family systems approaches.
  • Strong organizational, facilitation, and communication skills.
  • Cultural competence and ability to work with diverse populations.

Pay

$54,995.20 - $72,363.20

Schedule

Mon-Fri 8am-8pm (Flex based on the needs of the families)
