Responsibilities
- Provides individual, family, and group counseling to children, adolescents, and their families
- Performs clinical assessments including Virginia Independent Clinical Assessments, intakes, and develops treatment plans
- Works with referrals from local Court Service Units and Family Assessment and Services Teams
- Provides community education, consultation, and emergency services
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Human Services, Psychology, Counseling, or Social Work that includes coursework for licensure by the Virginia Department of Health Professions as a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, or Licensed Substance Abuse Treatment Practitioner in Virginia
- Successful completion of the graduate-level coursework required from the licensing board to begin licensure supervision/residency must be documented on the graduate degree transcript and provided upon request
- Fingerprints, State and FBI criminal record reports, drug test, and central registry (CANIS) report will be required upon request
- Agency maintains a drug-free workplace
Pay
Annual salary range: $48,028 – $83,222
- $8,000 sign-on bonus
- 20% increase for licensure
- 10% increase for resident/supervisee
