About the Role

Working closely with attorneys and fellow paralegals, you'll take ownership of a varied caseload and play a critical role throughout the lifecycle of each matter.

  • Drafting motions, decrees, agreed orders, discovery responses, special provisions, and trial materials
  • Managing case progression and supporting attorneys throughout litigation
  • Acting as a key point of contact for clients, providing updates and coordinating documentation
  • Preparing exhibits, witness lists, trial binders, and hearing materials
  • Managing filings across Texas jurisdictions
  • Supporting mediations, hearings, and final trials
  • Working collaboratively with an experienced team of family law professionals
  • Delivering exceptional client service during often challenging and emotional situations

Requirements

  • 5+ years of dedicated Family Law Paralegal experience
  • Strong drafting experience across decrees, motions, discovery, and agreed orders
  • Experience supporting hearings, mediations, and trial preparation
  • Solid knowledge of Texas family law, including divorce, SAPCRs, modifications, enforcement actions, and property division
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively
  • Comfortable working with legal technology platforms such as Clio, Monday.com, Dropbox, and similar systems
  • A compassionate, client-focused approach and the ability to remain calm in high-conflict matters

Qualifications

  • Board Certified Paralegal status or actively working toward certification (highly desirable)
  • Bilingual Spanish language skills (highly desirable)

Pay

$75,000 - $95,000 base salary depending on experience, plus quarterly and annual bonuses.

Schedule

Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm.
