Senior Family Law Attorney

Job Details

Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice and representation in family law matters, including divorce, custody, and support cases.
• Manage and litigate complex family law cases, including contested hearings and trials.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and develop effective legal strategies.
• Prepare and present legal arguments in court, including drafting pleadings and motions.
• Work closely with the firm's administrative team to ensure smooth case management and client communication.
• Participate in professional development activities such as continuing legal education (CLE).

Requirements

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Texas bar license.
• 3+ years family law litigation experience, or 5+ years civil litigation experience.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in family law litigation.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.

• Base salary between $140,000–$200,000, depending on experience.
• Performance bonus on collected revenue above target.
• 10% origination on cases you bring.
• Guaranteed minimum bonus in Year 1.
