About the role
Our client is seeking a Senior Family Law Attorney with 10+ years of experience to handle a sophisticated family law caseload, including divorce, child custody, child support, spousal support, property division, high-net-worth asset division, and other complex domestic relations matters. This is an outstanding opportunity to lead complex client matters, serve as first-chair counsel, mentor junior attorneys, and play a key leadership role within a collaborative and successful legal team while enjoying the flexibility of a fully remote position based in Washington State.
Qualifications
- J.D. and active Washington State Bar admission
- 10+ years of family law experience
- Extensive experience independently handling complex contested family law matters
- Strong litigation, negotiation, trial, and case management skills
- Excellent legal research, writing, and advocacy abilities
- Proven ability to manage a sophisticated caseload while maintaining exceptional client service
- Leadership and mentoring experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
What You'll Do
- Manage complex family law matters from inception through resolution
- Serve as lead counsel in mediations, settlement conferences, hearings, and trials
- Draft and argue motions, pleadings, and legal memoranda
- Represent clients in court proceedings and advocate in contested matters
- Handle discovery, depositions, expert coordination, and case strategy development
- Advises clients on custody, support, property division, high-net-worth assets, and other complex family law issues
- Negotiate favorable settlements while providing strategic legal guidance
- Maintain regular client communication and deliver exceptional client service
- Mentor junior attorneys and collaborate with legal support staff
- Ensure compliance with court deadlines and procedural requirements
Pay
$225,000 - $325,000 base salary
