This position will remain open continuously until filled. Anticipated hiring range: $20.10–$23.61 hourly, depending on qualifications/experience.

Responsibilities
- Cleans Town facilities including office areas and restrooms: sweeps, vacuums, mops, spot cleans, and otherwise cares for floors.
- Dusts furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
- Cleans toilets, sinks, showers, drinking fountains, appliances, gym equipment, and glass.
- Empties waste receptacles.
- Assists with snow and ice removal on building exteriors to help ensure public safety.
- Works within the Facilities Division to deliver room/event setup requests in the timeframe requested.
- Responsible for customer contact to ensure the development of strong customer relationships.
- Monitors and maintains supplies pertaining to the building they service.
- Performs other duties as assigned or required.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- One (1) to two (2) years' cleaning experience; or any equivalent combination of education, experience, or training.
- Valid Colorado driver’s license.
Skills
- Knowledge of equipment, materials, techniques, and supplies used in the cleaning of buildings.
- Ability to operate floor buffing machine, scrubber, carpet cleaner, vacuum cleaner, snow blowers, and other minor equipment.
- Ability to work independently with limited direct supervision.
- Ability to understand verbal and written directions.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, late nights, holidays, and/or weekends as needed.
Physical Demands
- Ability to drive to all facilities and access all areas to perform duties.
- Ability to stoop, kneel, and reach, as well as to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects and materials of up to 50 pounds.
- Frequent hand/eye coordination to operate personal computer and office equipment.
- Vision for reading, recording, and interpreting information.
- Speech communication and hearing to maintain communication with employees and citizens.
Work Environment
- Works primarily in a clean, comfortable environment.
- Uses various cleaning equipment including floor buffing machine, scrubber, carpet cleaner, vacuum cleaner, snow blowers, and other minor equipment.
- May require the incumbent to occasionally use personal equipment (e.g., vehicle, cell phone, tools) in the course of employment.
