Senior Facility Manager

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Facility Manager to join the team of a leader in the Real Estate & Construction space. This role will oversee plant operations and facility management activities that support efficient, compliant, and safe building operations. The Senior Facility Manager will partner with maintenance, projects, vendors, and administrative stakeholders to drive performance across critical operational areas. A key focus of the position is financial stewardship, service quality, and adherence to contractual and regulatory requirements in a matrixed environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the plant operations team and ensure efficient execution of maintenance and compliance programs
• Maintain compliance with the Master Services Agreement and relevant amendments
• Manage financial performance related to operational facilities budgets
• Identify trends and recommend actions for below-standard KPIs and SLAs in operations
• Oversee maintenance, projects, and vendor activities for critical operations
• Ensure staff training in facility maintenance and safety protocols, and create a safe work environment
• Ensure all building systems comply with federal, state, and local regulations

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in facility management, plant operations, engineering, or maintenance supervision
• Managerial experience with budgeting and personnel responsibilities
• Strong management skills in matrix organizations over technical and administrative teams
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong presentation skills
• Proficiency in MS Office and MS SharePoint
• Experience with CMMS and work order systems
