About the role
The Senior Facilities Manager is responsible for leading and managing the Facilities Management team, developing and implementing policies and procedures, and overseeing the annual capital plan and facility dashboards.
Responsibilities
- Leadership and technical advisor for the Facilities Management team, assisting in resolving complex issues and projects.
- Influence, direct, and support the Facilities Management team, utilizing technical knowledge and analytics from the Service Channel platform.
- Recommend, develop, and implement department policies, procedures, and programs to ensure well-maintained buildings and facilities.
- Develop and manage the annual capital plan for the fleet, and create and manage facilities dashboards and analytic reporting within the Service Channel.
- Review work order analytics to identify trends in service gaps and recurring issues, and provide corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with service level agreements with national service providers, ensuring they meet standards, quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
- Manage the refresh program, including the development and implementation of company programs and managing all activities and personnel supporting the program.
- Manage and execute capital reinvestment projects from implementation through completion, and develop and manage facilities budgets using site surveys, Service Channel data, and Operations feedback.
- Manage contracts and vendors for Project Managers and Services, support NROs by leading turnover and 10-month warranty walks, conduct annual location audits with Operations leadership, and provide project status updates weekly.
- Train operation teams on programs and repair/maintenance work performed in restaurants, participating in monthly/quarterly conference calls with Operations/Store Development Leadership to discuss issues, concerns, or other pertinent project considerations.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in Facilities Maintenance or a related field.
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Certification in facilities management through the International Facilities Management Association or another organization preferred.
- Knowledge of service and maintenance costs, rules and regulations governing facilities safety requirements, and FFE purchasing on a national level.
- Aptitude for prioritizing multiple projects.
