Senior Facilities Electrician
for section headings (e.g., About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). Use - for any list of duties/requirements/benefits, and
for prose. Do NOT repeat the job title as a heading (the page already shows it) and do NOT put Job ID / requisition numbers as headings — fold minor metadata into a short
or drop it. Preserve ALL substantive information; do NOT invent or summarize away detail. Remove cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate, duplicated lines, and application instructions. IMPORTANT: include a section ONLY when the posting has real, specific content for it — never emit a heading followed by filler/placeholder text (e.g., "commensurate with experience", "not specified", "N/A", "varies", "TBD") and never create Pay/Schedule/Benefits sections unless the posting actually states them. Prefer a few substantive sections over many thin ones. Output ONLY the HTML fragment — no /, no markdown code fences.
Thus we need to decide which sections to include. The posting has:
- Intro: "Why Mayo Clinic ..." (some description). Could be "About the role" or maybe not needed? The instruction says we can use headings like About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. We need to include sections only if there is real content.
We have:
- Benefits Highlights: list of benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision, Pre-Tax Savings, Retirement). That's a Benefits section.
- Responsibilities: a paragraph with many duties. Could be a Responsibilities section.
- Qualifications: a list of qualifications (education, experience, etc.). Could be Qualifications section.
- Compensation Detail: includes salary range: "$80,516.80 - $120,827.20 / hour". That's Pay section.
- Benefits Eligible Yes: maybe part of Benefits? Already have Benefits.
- Schedule: "Full Time Hours/Pay Period 80", "Schedule Details Mostly M-F business hours. Occasional weekends and overnights.", "Weekend Schedule Occasional weekdays and weeknights required." That's Schedule section.
- International Assignment No: maybe not needed.
- Site Description: description of locations. Could be About the role? Or maybe we can include a section "About the role" covering the intro and site description.
We must not include filler like "Exemption Status Nonexempt" maybe not needed.
We must not include EEO boilerplate etc.
We need to use
for each section heading.
We need to use - for any list of duties/requirements/benefits.
Thus:
- Benefits: list items.
- Responsibilities: could be a paragraph or list? The responsibilities are a paragraph with many sentences; we could keep as
. But the rule says use
- for any list of duties/requirements/benefits. It's not a list but a paragraph; we can keep as
.
- Qualifications: could be a list; we can make
- for each qualification bullet.
- Pay: we can have a
with the salary range.
- Schedule: we can have a
with schedule details.
- About the role: maybe combine intro and site description as
.
We need to ensure we preserve all substantive information. Let's extract all substantive bits.
Intro: "Why Mayo Clinic Mayo Clinic is top-ranked in more specialties than any other care provider according to U.S. News & World Report. As we work together to put the needs of the patient first, we are also dedicated to our employees, investing in competitive compensation and comprehensive benefit plans – to take care of you and your family, now and in the future. And with continuing education and advancement opportunities at every turn, you can build a long, successful career with Mayo Clinic."
Site Description: "Just as our reputation has spread beyond our Minnesota roots, so have our locations. Today, our employees are located at our three major campuses in Phoenix/Scottsdale, Arizona, Jacksonville, Florida, Rochester, Minnesota, and at Mayo Clinic Health System campuses throughout Midwestern communities, and at our international locations. Each Mayo Clinic location is a special place where our employees thrive in both their work and personal lives. Learn more about what each unique Mayo Clinic campus has to offer, and where your best fit is."
We could combine these into an "About the role" section.
Now Benefits Highlights: list:
- Medical: Multiple plan options.
- Dental: Delta Dental or reimbursement account for flexible coverage.
- Vision: Affordable plan with national network.
- Pre-Tax Savings: HSA and FSAs for eligible expenses.
- Retirement: Competitive retirement package to secure your future.
We need to preserve exactly.
Responsibilities: The paragraph: "Serves as in-house contact for all MCA campuses. This position requires expertise in all areas of the medium and low voltage power distribution equipment and systems that operate at 120V up to 12.47KV. These systems are including but not limited to generators, ATS units, UPS units, paralleling switchgear, all service equipment, branch circuit distribution and other electrical systems, including all elements of the EPSS for healthcare facilities. May dispose of hazardous waste in appropriate receptacles following hazardous waste and safety policies and procedures. Rotates on call and/or shifts as may be required. We need to keep that.
Qualifications: list of items:
- Completion of a two-year vocational echnical school program or 4 years' apprenticeship in electrical required.
- Minimum of six (6) years' industrial electrician experience in circuitry, power distribution at the medium voltage level of 12.47KV, lighting, and maintenance of electrical machinery and equipment with knowledge of electronic control systems (e.g. DDC), which includes two years' apprenticeship experience.
- Demonstrated Clinical Or Hospital Electrical Experience Preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to formulate and utilize M.O.P. procedures, ACR-Flash protocols, Lockout/Tagout standards and adhere to Life Safety policies and procedures.
- Demonstrated Understanding Of JCAHO, NEC, And Other Regulatory Standards/requirements.

- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematic drawings.
- Demonstrated trouble shooting skills.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the local electrical code and the authority having jurisdiction.
- Valid Arizona driver's license and a satisfactory motor vehicle record.
We need to preserve exactly; note there is a typo "echnical". Keep as is.
Pay: "Compensation Detail Education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended.; $80,516.80 - $120,827.20 / hour". Actually the text: "Compensation Detail Education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended.; $80,516.80 - $120,827.20 / hour". We need to keep that sentence.
Benefits Eligible Yes: maybe we can note in Benefits section? Already have benefits.
Schedule: "Full Time Hours/Pay Period 80 Schedule Details Mostly M-F business hours. Occasional weekends and overnights. Weekend Schedule Occasional weekdays and weeknights required." Actually the text: "Schedule Full Time Hours/Pay Period 80 Schedule Details Mostly M-F business hours. Occasional weekends and overnights. Weekend Schedule Occasional weekdays and weeknights required." We'll keep as a paragraph.
International Assignment No: maybe not needed; but it's substantive? It says "International Assignment No". Could be included but not required; we could drop as minor metadata? The instruction: "Do NOT put Job ID / requisition numbers as headings — fold minor metadata into a short
or drop it." International Assignment could be considered minor metadata; we could drop it. But we need to preserve ALL substantive information; is International Assignment substantive? It's a yes/no; maybe minor. I'd drop it to keep sections thin.
We must not create sections with filler. So we will have sections: About the role (intro + site description), Benefits, Responsibilities, Qualifications, Pay, Schedule.
Now format:
