RemoteRemoteMarketing$2k–$4k/moContract
About the role
CoTrain is hiring on behalf of a brand spending ~$100k+/month on Meta and looking to push significantly higher. They need an A‑player Meta buyer who can take ownership of the account immediately and scale hard. CoTrain is a vetted marketplace that connects companies with elite, pre‑screened talent, so you go straight to real work. This is not a role for someone who needs 3–4 weeks to “learn the account” before making moves, or who just launches campaigns, follows Meta's recommendations, and checks ROAS once a day. Meta is your primary domain, and you handle media buying A–Z without hand‑holding. You're not starting from zero — spend is already flowing, and you need to come in, read what's happening, and move from day one.
Responsibilities
- Own Meta performance end to end and scale aggressively — horizontally and vertically — while protecting efficiency.
- Run modern Meta buying fluently: CBO structures, efficient ABO creative testing, ASC/Advantage+, bid caps and cost controls, campaign consolidation, and budget allocation.
- Keep Ads Manager clean and structured — clear naming and campaign logic so anyone can see what's testing, scaling, fatigued, being recycled, or ready to kill.
- Manage graveyard and evergreen/winner campaigns properly, knowing when to recycle winners and when older creatives deserve another shot.
- Run whitelisting/partnership ads and buy across multiple pages, with sound retargeting and funnel segmentation.
- Recognize when the account can take more spend and act fast, moving winners into proper scaling structures.
- Drive the creative feedback loop: create an active loop between media buying, creative, and ownership, telling the team which hooks, angles, formats, creators, and offers are winning or fatiguing, what deserves iteration, more volume, or a kill, what's missing (new advertorials, landing pages, offers, whitelisting pages, UGC creators, static concepts, hook variations, MOF/BOF creative, or a new funnel to test), and provide actionable feedback that the strategist can turn straight into briefs.
- Provide regular (daily or every‑other‑day) breakdowns: spend, winning/losing campaigns, ads starting to scale, creative fatigue, emerging hooks and angles, testing results, scaling decisions, account problems, and what the creative team needs next.
Requirements
- Deep understanding of key Meta metrics and what drives them: CPM, CPC, CTR, CPA, CVR, ROAS, MER, frequency, hook rate, hold rate, thumb‑stop rate, LP conversion rate, AOV, and contribution margin.
- Ability to interpret why metrics are moving and decide what actions to take.
Skills
- Expertise in Meta media buying (CBO, ABO, ASC/Advantage+, bid caps, cost
