Role Description Location: Plano, TX (3 days) Position Summary Job Description Senior F5 Load Balancer Engineer We are seeking a highly experienced Senior F5 Load Balancer Engineer to serve as a Subject Matter Expert SME supporting enterprisescale load balancing initiatives within a large financial services environment The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in F5 Networks and VMware AVI strong networking fundamentals and handson experience designing implementing and supporting highavailability application delivery solutions This role requires close collaboration with engineering teams business stakeholders and vendors to deliver scalable secure and resilient loadbalancing services Key Responsibilities Design implement and maintain enterprise loadbalancing solutions using F5 BIGIP and VMware AVI platformsDevelop HighLevel Designs HLDs and LowLevel Designs LLDs for application delivery and traffic management solutionsDefine architectural standards best practices and operational frameworks for loadbalancing servicesProvide Level 3 support for critical production incidents and complex infrastructure issuesPerform troubleshooting and root cause analysis across application network and infrastructure layersCollaborate with application teams to understand endtoend application flows and optimize traffic routingDevelop automation solutions and operational tools using Python Perl Java or JavaScriptManage capacity planning threshold monitoring performance tuning and platform optimization activitiesSupport platform upgrades lifecycle management feature enhancements and technology refresh initiativesWork closely with vendors internal engineering teams and business units to deliver reliable network servicesCreate and maintain technical documentation operational runbooks and support proceduresParticipate in architecture reviews certifications testing and implementation of new F5 features and technologies Other Details Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, performance and internal equity.
