About the role

Our Senior Experience Designers craft digital experiences people love to use. They are collaborators and innovators who thrive in multidisciplinary teams, can start from a blank page and help realize the vision for a great experience, and aren’t afraid to get their hands dirty making that vision a reality.

Our experience runs the gamut from site to mobile, eCom to campaign, marketing to editorial to product, with one foot in beautiful visual expressions and the other in rock-solid user experience. At heart we are designers who love creating new, meaningful experiences and are well versed in the practice of modern digital experience creation.

Responsibilities

  • Design beautiful, usable experiences for all kinds of devices and contexts
  • Apply hybrid design experience: strong user experience fundamentals paired with refined visual design skills
  • Demonstrate mastery of visual design fundamentals: color, typography, illustration, motion, etc.
  • Develop (not so) basic prototyping capabilities
  • Think holistically through user flows and other experience models
  • Create, evolve, and maintain design systems
  • Annotate complex interactions
  • Use tools such as Sketch, Figma, InVision, and Adobe CC proficiently
  • Sketch, post, and collaborate with cross-capability teams
  • Execute, organize, and defend work with informed opinions and design rationale
  • Self-organize work and time, seeking direction when needed

Requirements

  • A portfolio chock full of beautiful, usable experiences designed for all kinds of devices and contexts
  • Curiosity for (or deep immersion in) the technology of modern experiences
  • Bonus points for experience in discovery-based activities, user research, and agile processes

Qualifications

Great candidates often have:

  • A four-year degree
  • A formal design education, and 3-5 years of industry experience
  • Additional study in HCI, Human Factors, or Graphic Design
  • Enough research experience to be dangerous
  • A robust portfolio of work across devices and platforms
  • Basic understanding of front-end development technologies
  • Familiarity with common social platforms
  • Creative agency experience (desired)
  • Familiarity with prompt-based interaction and commonly used generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Google Gemini, DALL·E, Midjourney) is a plus, especially for tasks like ideation, research, or content generation

Pay

Compensation Range: USD $66,120.00 - USD $87,000.00/Annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position.
