About the role
This position is responsible for overseeing the library media program at various schools within the district.Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the library media center.
- Provide resources and support for teaching and learning.
- Collaborate with teachers to integrate technology and media resources into curriculum.
- Oversee the selection, acquisition, and organization of materials.
- Facilitate access to digital resources and assist students with research skills.
- Support the implementation of school-wide technology initiatives.
Requirements
- A Master’s degree in Library Science from an ALA-accredited program.
- Experience in managing a library media center.
- Knowledge of current educational technologies and trends.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with library management software.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
