Senior Executive Director, Green Hills

About the role

The YMCA of Middle Tennessee is now hiring for a Senior Executive Director at their Green Hills location. This position offers a pay range of $95,000 to $125,000 depending on experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the daily operations of multiple YMCA centers while balancing staff development, program quality, facility upkeep, safety, and fiscal responsibility.
• Build relationships with community leaders, organizations, businesses, volunteers, members, and staff.
• Support fundraising, membership growth, program enrollment, and annual giving efforts.
• Develop, manage, and monitor operating budgets to meet or exceed goals.
• Recruit, motivate, train, evaluate, and support staff and volunteers.
• Ensure excellent member service, safe operations, and compliance with Association policies.

Requirements

• Minimum age: 21
• Four-year college degree in a related field
• At least four years of experience in an executive director-level YMCA position
• Strong leadership, communication, presentation, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills
• Ability to inspire teams and create a culture of service for members and staff
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends

Qualifications

• Required certifications/training include CPR Pro with AED, First Aid, Emergency Oxygen, New Hire Orientation, Child Abuse Detection/Prevention, BBP, and Adult Mental Health First Aid within required timelines.
• YMCA Organizational Leader certification preferred.
