Senior Executive Casino Host (Overnight Shift)
Position Overview
The Senior Executive Casino Host is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to high-value guests and VIPs. They will develop and maintain relationships with guests, ensuring that they have an enjoyable and memorable experience at the resort.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary point of contact for high-value guests and VIPs, providing exceptional customer service and addressing any concerns or issues they may have.
- Develop and maintain relationships with guests, ensuring that their needs and preferences are understood and met.
- Meet quarterly goals, including those pertaining to revenue, filling special events, telemarketing efforts and profit.
- Responsible for exercising discretion and using independent judgment to make cost effective and revenue driven comp decisions.
- Cook up and manage special events and promotions for VIPs, including arranging transportation, accommodations, and other services as needed.
- Actively seek out new VIP prospects and build relationships with potential guests.
- Collaborate with other departments, including marketing, food and beverage, and gaming operations, to ensure a seamless and enjoyable guest experience.
- Conduct off-site events and promotional parties to maintain customer loyalty and obtain new business when directed.
- Provide regular reports to the CCMO on guest activity, trends, and opportunities.
- Ensure that guest information is accurate and up-to-date in the casino's database.
- Handle and resolve guest complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices, and implement new strategies and initiatives as appropriate.
- Maintain and respect confidentiality of guest and Member information and databases as well as any internal information regarding the Company’s marketing programs or offers.
- Demonstrates a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible service of alcohol by discreetly notifying appropriate management of concerns and observations.
- Exhibits conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations, Federal and State laws and regulations, and Fontainebleau Las Vegas departmental policies and procedures.
Qualification Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality, business, marketing, or a related field and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of six (6) years of experience as an Executive Host, Casino Host, or similar position or four years of experience involving guest contact in a high volume, luxury, complex resort.
- Must be able to exercise discretion and independent judgment with respect to matters of significance.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with high-value guests and VIPs.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of casino operations and marketing strategies is preferred.
- Excellent written, verbal and non-verbal communication skills.
- Ability to effectively achieve business unit goals and objectives by implementing strategic and operational plans, budgets, and best practices; and monitoring and evaluating results.
- Ability to actively influence and drive collaboration with individuals or groups at various levels within and outside of the organization.
- Ability to provide leadership and direction contributing to the success of the organization through engaging, developing, and mentoring individuals and teams.
- Demonstrated ability in maintaining consistent, high-quality service levels.
- Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to organize effectively, delegate responsibility, solve problems quickly and communicate clearly.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive guest and company information.
- Willing and able to work a flexible schedule to include nights and weekends.
- Work in a fast-paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment.
