Senior Events Manager
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced event professional who can immediately bring leadership, organization, and operational expertise to the Presley Paige Events team, with the potential to grow into a broader department leadership role as the business continues to scale.
Responsibilities
- Oversee multiple events or projects simultaneously from planning through execution
- Build and manage complex production schedules, staffing plans, project timelines, and deadlines
- Manage event or project budgets, including labor costs, outside vendors, rentals, transportation, and other operational expenses
- Make staffing and resource decisions based on workload, project requirements, timelines, and budget
- Oversee event operations, including production, load-in, installation, event execution, strike, and post-event processes
- Create or improve operational systems and processes as the team or organization grows
- Identify capacity constraints and proactively recommend additional staffing, resources, or operational changes
- Provide clear direction in high-pressure, fast-moving environments
- Coordinate effectively across Sales, Creative, Operations, leadership, vendors, and clients
- Evaluate whether an installation successfully reflects an approved mockup, creative concept, and client expectation
- Apply understanding of scale, proportion, color, placement, spacing, balance, and overall presentation
- Identify when execution does not meet the intended creative or quality standard and direct the team toward a solution
- Balance exceptional client service and creative execution with operational realities, team capacity, and profitability
- Anticipate challenges before they impact an event or the team

Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in event production, event management, experiential marketing, event design, large-scale installations, hospitality events, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience directly managing people, with demonstrated ability to lead, develop, delegate to, and hold a team accountable
- Experience overseeing multiple events or projects simultaneously from planning through execution
- Demonstrated experience building and managing complex production schedules, staffing plans, project timelines, and deadlines
- Experience managing event or project budgets, including labor costs, outside vendors, rentals, transportation, and other operational expenses
- Experience making staffing and resource decisions based on workload, project requirements, timelines, and budget
- Strong understanding of event operations, including production, load-in, installation, event execution, strike, and post-event processes
- Experience creating or improving operational systems and processes as a team or organization grows
- Ability to identify capacity constraints and proactively recommend additional staffing, resources, or operational changes
- Strong leadership presence with the ability to provide clear direction in high-pressure, fast-moving environments
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to coordinate effectively across Sales, Creative, Operations, leadership, vendors, and clients
- Strong visual judgment and attention to detail, with the ability to evaluate whether an installation successfully reflects an approved mockup, creative concept, and client expectation
- An understanding of scale, proportion, color, placement, spacing, balance, and overall presentation
- Confidence identifying when execution does not meet the intended creative or quality standard and directing the team toward a solution
- Ability to balance exceptional client service and creative execution with operational realities, team capacity, and profitability
- A proactive, solutions-oriented leadership style and the ability to anticipate challenges before they impact an event or the team
- Valid US Driver's License
- Working mobile smartphone with GPS capabilities and data
- Comfortably use common technology i.e. online calendars and chat programs
- Must be able to lift at least 60lbs
- Must be able to get in and out of delivery van
- Must be comfortable on ladders
- Flexible availability (including nights and weekends)
- Ability to prioritize tasks

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing hourly, part-time, seasonal, freelance, or production-based teams
- Experience with event design, décor, fabrication, experiential activations, large-scale installations, rentals, or other visually driven environments
- Balloon décor experience is a plus, but not required
- Bachelor's Degree
Pay
Starting Salary: $50,000 - $70,000

Schedule
Full-time position with flexibility to work nontraditional event hours when necessary, including some nights, weekends, and early mornings.
