About the Role

The Senior Event Coordinator supports the Access division by managing all aspects of event planning and execution, from initial concept through post-event surveys and analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Project manage all aspects of event planning and execution for events within the Access division.
  • Partner with internal support teams to manage vendors, coordinate event logistics, oversee registration and attendee tracking, arrange entertainment, develop event communications, conduct pre- and post-event evaluations, coordinate promotional materials and signage, and manage transportation.
  • Develop, maintain, and monitor event timelines to ensure all milestones and deadlines are achieved.
  • Collaborate with the design team to create invitations, event collateral, and printed materials.
  • Develop, manage, and reconcile event budgets while ensuring adherence to approved financial guidelines.
  • Proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues that may impact event success.
  • Develop contingency plans to mitigate risks and ensure seamless event execution.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the unique requirements and logistics associated with a diverse portfolio of events.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of computer software packages including Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Adaptable and motivated to learn
  • Diplomatic problem solver and results-driven
  • Written and verbal communication skills (in person and on phone)
  • Knowledge of office procedures, practices, and equipment
  • Ability to work independently and in stressful situations
  • Ability to multi-task

Requirements

  • College Degree
  • Five years’ experience in event coordination

Physical Demands and Schedule

Light work, requiring exerting up to 30 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently.

Work hours are 9:00 AM–5:00 PM with an hour for lunch and flexibility depending on business needs. Travel is required.
