About the role

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Estimator to join our dynamic Pre-Construction team. This is a permanent role that offers an exciting opportunity to be involved in some of the most innovative and challenging construction projects. As a Senior Estimator, you will play a key role in the pre-construction phase of our projects, providing detailed and accurate cost estimates that will drive the success of our construction endeavors. This role requires a deep understanding of the construction industry, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for delivering high-quality work.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the pre-construction process, including conducting pre-bid sessions, preparing and formatting RFPs, and providing comprehensive cost estimates.
  • Utilize BlueBeam software to review and analyze project plans and specifications.
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, and clients to ensure all project requirements are understood and considered in the estimation process.
  • Leverage your base building and interior project experience to provide accurate and competitive estimates.
  • Review and evaluate cost estimates to ensure accuracy and completeness, and provide recommendations for cost optimization.
  • Participate in the negotiation and awarding of contracts.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in construction technology and techniques to ensure our estimates are current and competitive.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role in the construction industry.
  • Proven experience in pre-construction, including conducting pre-bid sessions, preparing and formatting RFPs.
  • Proficiency in BlueBeam software or equivalent.
  • Significant base building and interior project experience.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex project plans and specifications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to secure the best prices and terms for our projects.
  • A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field would be advantageous.

Pay

Salary: $120,000 - $145,000 per year
