Responsibilities
We are seeking a detail-oriented Electrical Estimator to support preconstruction and proposal development for medium and high-voltage power delivery projects. Responsibilities include:
- Developing accurate cost estimates for substation construction, expansion, and modernization projects
- Working closely with engineering, project management, and procurement teams to ensure competitive and technically sound bids
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related technical field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of estimating or project experience within power delivery, utilities, or heavy electrical construction
- Experience estimating substation projects
- Strong understanding of substation components such as transformers, breakers, bus systems, protection & control, grounding, and structural systems
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, one-lines, and construction specifications
- Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Excel
Pay
$80,000 - $120,000 per year
