Responsibilities

We are seeking a detail-oriented Electrical Estimator to support preconstruction and proposal development for medium and high-voltage power delivery projects. This role involves:

• Developing accurate cost estimates for substation construction, expansion, and modernization projects
• Working closely with engineering, project management, and procurement teams to ensure competitive and technically sound bids

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related technical field (or equivalent experience)
• 3+ years of estimating or project experience within power delivery, utilities, or heavy electrical construction
• Experience estimating substation projects
• Strong understanding of substation components such as transformers, breakers, bus systems, protection & control, grounding, and structural systems
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, one-lines, and construction specifications
• Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Excel

Pay

$80,000 - $120,000 per year
