Senior Estimator
Key Responsibilities
- Review project specifications, blueprints, and drawings to define scope and prepare cost estimates.
- Develop conceptual estimates and schedules based on preliminary designs.
- Conduct site visits to assess access, utilities, and site conditions.
- Produce Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) estimates, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
- Lead pre-construction activities across multiple projects.
- Mentor junior estimators and interns.
- Assist with project management tasks when required.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Present and reconcile estimates with clients and design teams.
- Provide input on design improvements and estimation procedures.
- Track costs against estimates throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure comprehensive and accurate documentation of scopes and estimates.

The Person
We are looking for someone with:
- A degree in a related field or equivalent experience (minimum of 5 years).
- Proven expertise in pre-construction and cost estimation for projects ranging from $250K to $15M.
- Proficiency in construction-specific tools such as Procore, Bluebeam, and Pro-Est.
- Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills.
- A detail-oriented approach and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
