About the role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to join our team in Dublin, OH, specializing in civil construction projects. The ideal candidate will prepare accurate estimates for data centers, warehouses, utilities, and other large parcel projects.
Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for civil construction projects including data centers, warehouses, and utilities.
- Analyze project plans and specifications to determine the scope of work and required resources.
- Utilize estimating software such as HCSS Heavybid and/or AGTEK for efficient bid preparation.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for estimates.
- Conduct site visits to assess conditions and gather data for more accurate bidding.
- Review and adjust estimates based on project changes or new information.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior estimators and team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in estimating within the civil construction industry, specifically involving large parcel projects such as data centers and/or warehouses.
- Proficiency in estimating software such as HCSS Heavybid and/or AGTEK.
- Strong understanding of grading, earthwork, and utility construction.
- Must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.
Pay
Base salary: $125,000–$175,000
